How the Jewish Lobby Controls US Foreign Policy

Throughout history, political scientists have agreed that the foreign policy of any country depends on its population, geography, economy and government.

How the Jewish Lobby Controls US Foreign Policy

However, as far as the United States is concerned, the opposite is true. The foreign policy of America is shaped by Zionists and seeks to safeguard their own interests rather than that of the Americans.

American administration’s recent foreign policy failure with respect to the developments in the Middle East clearly indicates that Zionist policy makers are unable to either comprehend or adjust their own interests with the rapidly changing dynamics of the region.

Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has made it clear in her remarks that US congress is controlled by Zionist think tanks, their media companies and lobbying networks. Their control of the American government is so absolute that it is impossible for politicians to oppose the Zionists or their agenda. That is why Israeli priorities always take precedence over American ones.

Jews own huge business corporation in America. These include arms factories, hotels, oil companies, banks, and film studios and media companies.

They exercise great influence in the world’s financial markets allowing them to control the economy of the entire world. It also offers them an opportunity to pay hefty amounts in elections campaigns, and then reap the rewards when a politician is elected in a constituency. We have seen how President George Bush and his team of neo-cons jeopardized America’s interests in order to safeguard Israel’s.

After the 9/11 tragedy, extremism was fomented in Americans on purpose with the help of Zionist controlled media. While innocent Muslims were being harassed in the Western World, Israel was given a Carte Blanche to kill Palestinians without impunity.

In the wake of America’s war on terror, Pakistan became a frontline state. American led forces first invaded Afghanistan and then turned attacked Iraq without mandate from the UN Security Council.

In the aftermath of this illegal invasion of sovereign countries, hundreds of thousands of people perished due to heavy bombardment. Many were taken prisoner and kept under inhumane conditions in Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib.

Israel succeeded in manipulating the 9/11 tragedy and joined the American onslaught on Afghanistan and Iraq. Israel has also enlisted the help of the Indian lobby which is busy equating the true aspirations of freedom of Palestinians and Kashmiris with terrorism. Israel is also against Pakistan which happens to be only nuclear power in the whole Muslim world.

After Barack Obama came to power in America, there was a hope that he will reverse some of the terrible blunders made by his predecessor. It was also hoped that he will sincerely work towards just resolutions of the Palestinian and Kashmiri conflicts. No such thing happened.

Rather, American support for Israel was further enhanced while India was allowed to continue its brutal techniques in Kashmir. As a result, more young people turned towards jihadism and militancy.

The wave of attacks against western interests is a clear manifestation of Obama’s failed foreign policy. Ironically, the unprecedented rise in militancy is not in the interest of America either which is already burdened by a huge cost of war.

The situation is further aggravated by the US financial crisis and the continuing face/off between the Democratic and Republican congressmen. America is currently at a crossroad where it will have to decide whether it prefers the interest of 2% Jewish Americans over the rest of its population.

Sajjad Shaukat

I got master degrees in English and Journalism including diploma in English Learning and Teaching from the University of Punjab. I am a freelance writer and wrote a number of articles on various topics of international affairs, published in Pakistan’s English newspapers. Besides, I also wrote a book, “US vs Islamic, Invisible Balance of Power: Dangerous Shift in International Relations”, published by Ms. Ferozsons Pvt. Lahore in 2005. In this book, I have evolved a thesis that the non-state actors like Islamic militants are checking the world dominance of the US. However, I have condemned the old theories which support role of force and power in international affairs. Taking the ongoing war on terror as a conflict between the privileged and unprivileged status quo, I have suggested reforming the unequal world order. And I have favoured global peace, based upon idealism--which is possible by reconciling realism with idealism. Moreover, it is essential to combat terrorism by resolving various issues like Palestine, Kashmir etc., and by acting upon an exit strategy from Iraq and Afghanistan. Moreover, my future assessments like failure of military paradigm by the state actors in coping with the non-state actors, increase in US cost of war, rise of more terrorism, plane plot in UK and present international financial crisis have proved true. So, central thesis of the book remains valid today.
