Now, the company’s representative announced that the consumers can get purified terephthalic acid (PTA) from all of the three locations. The third location to get this PTA is Dahej. Reliance Industries are producing 4. 2 million of 6 million tons. The company is also planning to produce this another 1. 2 million tons of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) in this year. They will produce it by themselves.
But, when we look at the demand of PTA in India, it is 5 million tons. So, the additional purified terephthalic acid (PTA) produced by the company will be imported.
